User Access

The use of several Raven products and services described in the documentation may require authentication or authorization for access.

Usually, this involves creating a user account in order to provide valid credentials for use of said products or services. Certain products like the Slingshot platform may involve further security measures such as client secrets or tokens.

Access to Developer Portal

Use of the Raven Developer Portal does not require a user account.

Accessing the Support Ticket system found in the Developer Portal does require a valid email address. A provided email address is used both for tracking tickets and for accessing a client token for authorization.

Access to API

Use of the APIs described in documentation will require a user account.

User accounts can be obtained by email or sign up forms. Several details will need to be provided, and will differ for each product. Several of the APIs will also require secrets or tokens to be obtained before performing API calls.

At the very least, one will need to provide the following:

  • The desired account username
  • Email address
  • Account type

Refer to the Getting Started section of the appropriate product for more information.
